Kids on Your Caseload with ADD, ADHD, Autism – A Different Perspective

This class is for therapists who have children on their caseloads who have been labeled with ADD, ADHD and/or autism, and who stress over how to help these kids.  Typically, these kids do not respond well to traditional therapy interventions, and actually seem immune to them all.

If you have done everything you can think of to support them and you feel like you are at your wits end, this class is for you.

In this class, we will have a look at:

  • The myths that surround these kids
  • Who they are and who they are not
  • How they communicate
  • How they are in relationship to their body
  • What relationships with other people are like
  • What parenting these kids entails

And, you will be given tools that you can use in your practice and that you can pass along to your clients … tools that actually work to create more ease for them and for you as you navigate the ins and outs of assisting this population.

Trained as an LCSW and RPT-S, Anne is a psychotherapist who has worked for over 25 years with children who struggle with not fitting in, with being different, with being labeled with “disorders.”

She has developed a unique approach for these children, their parents and family members that allows them to shift from dismay, distress and worry to being able to create a different way of being that works better for them.
